Minister Péter Szijjártó welcomed Philip Hammond Chancellor of the Exchequer of the United Kingdom at the meeting of the Visegrád Group’s trade ministers, on the 14th of September 2017.

The trade ministers of the Visegrád Group (Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic) met with Philip Hammond at Várkert Bazár. One of the main topic to discuss was trade relations between UK and the Central-European region after UK’s exit from the EU. In addition, the represantatives discussed the rights of EU citizens in the UK and the migration crisis as well. Philip Hammond also met with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán during his visit in Budapest.
