The two-days event provided an opportunity for teachers working in Hungarian Saturday schools in the UK to learn from professionals and their peers.
Ambassador Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky opened the 1st Conference of Teachers’ in Hungarian Saturday Schools in the UK. The two-days event organised by the Hungarian Embassy, the Hungarian Cultural Centre and the National Federation of Hungarians in the UK sponsored by the State Secretary for Hungarian Communities Abroad provided an opportunity for teachers to learn from professionals and their peers about teaching methodology, management and parent-teacher/children-teacher relationships. The Ambassador praised the dedication of the teachers who sacrifice their time for the sake of preserving the Hungarian language and Hungarian culture and thus the Hungarian nation itself.
