Ambassador Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky participated at the launch of the „History of the Hungarian Constitution” book at the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies.

Edited by Dr Thomas Lorman and Dr Ferenc Hörcher, it is the only book in English that deals with the history of Hungary’s constitutional identity from the medieval age through the Habsburg rule to the Hungarian Basic Law of 2011.

During the event, the Ambassador, Dr Lorman, Dr Hörcher, Professor Martyn Rady and Professor Philip Barker discussed the history and relevance of Hungary’s historical constitution with the students of UCL. Ambassador Szalay-Bobrovniczky presented the official illustrated edition of the 2011 Basic Law to the School of Slavonic and East European Studies.
