Ambassador Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky welcomed members of Alzheimer Society and Dementia UK for a dinner before the World Alzheimer’s Ball 2018, an annual event which takes place since 2016.
The Ambassador commended the compassionate work of Director Michael Dent in raising public awareness in relation to the illness. The event also offered an excellent opportunity to present the Healthy Hungary Strategy, which aims to achieve public health objectives, among them to alleviate the suffering of the appx. 2.5% of the Hungarian population affected by various forms of dementia.
