Ambassador Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky during his official visit to Wales not only awarded the Honorary Consul of Hungary, but held meetings with a prominent community leaders and businessmen from the region.

Ambassador Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky conducted his third official visit in Wales on 22-23 November 2018. As a highlight of the trip, Ambassador Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, presented the Order of Merit of Hungary to Alun Davies for his long-standing activity as the Honorary Consul of Hungary in Wales in the presence of Morfudd Meredith, Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant for South Glamorgan.

During his stay, the Hungarian Ambassador met the Leader of the Welsh Conservatives Paul Davis AM and held a discussion with the Lord Mayor, Councillor Dianne Rees. Ambassador Szalay-Bobrovniczky met a number of community leaders and businessmen from the region and visited Cardiff University. He met with Prof Kevin Morgan, Dean of Engagement and Matthew Turner from the newly established National Software Academy and gave a presentation to business, politics and journalism majoring students.
