The Open House London participation of the Embassy of Hungary was a great success. The visitors were in awe of the architecture and the interior design and enthusiastic about the programmes.

The Embassy of Hungary in London opened its doors for the first time in the framework of the Open House London series on 22-23 September 2018. Almost 500 people participated at our tours and programmes. The visitors were grateful for the insight into the work of diplomats by Deputy Ambassador Beáta Margitay-Becht and the behind-the scened description of the refurbishment process by interior designers Helen Bampton and Karen Sumner on the first day. Our guests enjoyed the Hungarikum-day with the music and dance performance by Hunique Dance Ensemble and the Hungarian tasting table with the support of the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture on the second day. The exhibition of the Hungarian painter Dénes Maróti, the FIFA Puskás award replica and the Hungarian innovation corner (showcasing Rubik Cubes and the „Gömböc”) also found its fan-base.
