To commemorate the Hungarian uprising in 1956, Ambassador Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky and Arkady Rzegocki, Ambassador of Poland laid wreaths at the memorial plaque at the Polish Hearth Club in London. The memorial plaque was commissioned by the British-Hungarian Fellowship and the Polish community in London in 1957 in memory of victims of the revolution.
